New steel plant opening in Pennsylvania

Ameri-Precision Metals Inc. has started laying the foundation for its new 250,000-sq.-ft. facility in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh. The facility will produce cold-rolled and heat-treated high-carbon steel strips, bringing 100 jobs to the area. Read the full story.

Steel-framed school building under construction in Idaho

Work is underway on a much-needed 16,800-sq.-ft. building for Vision Charter School in Caldwell, Idaho. R&M Steel made the project possible through a donation of steel valued at $293,000. The school will use the new building as a gym; CrossFit center; technology lab; and science, technology, reading, engineering, arts and math (STREAM) lab. Learn more and see project photos.

Structural steel construction for baseball stadium in Massachusetts
